Know the Effects of Heroin on Family

Every Heroin abuser might be in a view that, his habit of drug abuse is harmful only to him and thinks that he is spoiling his own life but not others. But he is not aware of the things which are effecting the persons who gave birth and brought him up with much care and affection. Since we are living in a society, we have to feel responsible about our habits and behavior which will show adverse effects on the society. Nobody will bother if you don't bring name and fame to your family, but at least try to carry the same respect that your parents had and never ever try to ruin it.

There are many people who really don't know how they are affecting their family. So, let us see the adverse effects of Heroin abusers on family life.
  • When one person of the family gets addicted by drugs, the other family members try to convince the individual. Naturally the drug addict never listens to others. This leads to frequent fights in the family which results in the families becoming apart. Hence there is a break up in the relations because of one person.
  • The addicted person never feels embarrassing or shameful and will not even bother about what others say about him. But the other family members cannot be like him, they can't live with such a disrespect in the society. This type of situation creates stresses and turmoil among the family members making them depressed.
  • If any one of the parents is suffering from drug addiction the children in the family will get affected and influenced by their habits and behavior. They feel that doing such things is not at all wrong since their parents are doing it. It affects their future badly, making them drug addicts.

It involves great pain and effort in raising a family and to gain respect for the same, from the society. But it will take very little time to break up the relation and to lose respect. There are so many people around us who know the pain of not having the family. So, it is good not to lose a lovable family for our selfish thoughts and habits.
