Do Vitamins Promote Anti-aging?

Vitamins, essential nutrients for body functions, ensure many significant health benefits. Some of them, especially vitamin C and vitamin E are effective in promoting anti-aging.

Vitamin C, which is largely found in skin, is also available in certain vegetables and fruits. It plays an important role in repairing damaged cells and also prevents the excessive or cancerous growth of the cells. Hence, it reduces aging. Free radicals which are formed because of stress, cause cell damage. However, this vitamin is a powerful antioxidant that avoids cell damage. Food sources rich in vitamin C and vitamin C supplements should be taken daily to enjoy the benefits of anti-aging.

Vitamin E is another important vitamin that promotes anti-aging. Like vitamin C, it is also an antioxidant and nullifies the effect of free radicals. One of the characteristics features of this vitamin is that it protects cell membranes and improves the functioning of enzymes associated with them. It is found in foods such as green leafy vegetables, seeds, nuts, and vegetable oils. It is even available in various forms of supplements and topical applications.

In addition to the above two vitamins, vitamins A, B and K also considerably play a role in anti-aging. Vitamin A, with its great antioxidant properties, help in preventing wrinkles and other signs of aging. Deficiency of vitamins B12, B6, and folic acid causes loss of memory and increases the chances of heart diseases. These are characteristics of aging and hence, intake of these supplements can slow down the process of aging. So, consider the anti-aging benefits of various vitamins and take proper diet rich in these vitamins, or take vitamin supplements.

Regular cleansing of skin and skin care against sun is not just enough to ensure healthy skin. It even requires proper diet and supply of vitamins and minerals. The skin may look dull and lifeless with lack of proper vitamins. Go through to know the essential vitamins which promote the health of skin.
  • Vitamin A, also called as retinol, helps in promoting growth and development of skin cells. It even maintains the health of skin tissues and immune system. This vitamin is considered to complement skin tone, eradicate fine lines and enhance skin elasticity.
  • Different types of vitamin B including niacin (B3), pyridoxine (B6), riboflavin (B2) and thiamine (B1) help in avoiding skin disorders. Deficiency of niacin causes a condition called pellagra that includes dermatitis (inflammation of skin). Vitamin B also has the ability to debar scaling of skin.
  • Vitamin C, a water-soluble vitamin, benefits the skin by acting as a collagen stabilizer.
  • Vitamin D helps in generation of skin cells and promotes calcium permeation. It also provides proper conditioning to the skin surface by imparting moisture.

Know About the Common Tips to Learn Spanish

While we are learning some new language we tend to do mistakes. The same happens in case of Spanish too. Especially in Spanish, as it is similar to English, we tend to make few more mistakes. To avoid such mistake you have to know some points up front even before you try to practice the language. Following are few points which often confuse people who are learning Spanish and make them to commit mistakes.
  • First thing I would like to mention is about tenses. In Spanish, it is common to use present tense in order to mention something which will happen in the future, particularly in the near future.
  • This is a common mistake made by many beginners. Assuming that Spanish words that look like English words mean the same. Even though few words mean the same there are so many exceptions. So, never compare both the languages and try to learn Spanish as a new language.
  • In general Spanish takes the sentence order similar to that of English. However, there are few sentences where the subject follows the verb. So concentrate more on that area since you are still in the learning stage.
  • Don't try to memorize too many words. Focus on the essential words first and once you start practicing you will become familiar with more words.
  • Never ignore pronunciation and preposition. These are the basic things which form the essence of Spanish. Try to imitate the native speakers to get the proper pronunciation.
  • Don't try to translate the idioms word to word. Even though few idioms are worth translating word to word, the rule is not for all. So, better not to do such things to avoid mistakes.
These are the common mistakes which we come across while learning Spanish, so stay focused and try to learn Spanish as an entirely new language.

Factors Affecting Online Video Ad Growth in US – eMarketer Findings

Online video advertising is one of the competent features of internet advertising. eMarketer, a company involved in publishing data, analysis and insights on digital marketing, finds that online publishers expected favorable online video ad growth in the United States. As per the online video ad network Brightroll, publishers are more focused on digital video advertising. About 62% of the survey respondents estimate that it contributes maximum revenues in 2012.

From the survey, certain factors which affect the growth of online video ad growth were found. Some of them include:

  • Standardization
  • Technical implementation
  • Interruptive nature of the video
  • Cost
  • Integration with third parties

About 42% of the respondents believed that lack of standardization is the main barrier for the growth of online video ads. This is very much true when considering the vast number of networks, video players and providers in the online space. Interruptive nature of online video advertisement disrupts the interest of the user and is another considerable factor which has an impact on the video ad growth. This was supported by about 39% of the respondents of the study.

About 31% and 26% of the respondents expressed challenges of technical implementation and integration with third parties as the barriers of its growth. 20% of them considered each lack of advertisers and metrics inhibiting its progress.

Another important factor to be considered is the cost. While the Brightroll findings for the first quarter of 2011 revealed cost as the most prohibitive factor of online video ad growth, about only 17% of the survey respondents found it as a deterrent. As per the findings of the first quarter of 2011, high price of video (33%), limited reach of online video (22.3%), lack of targeting capabilities (15.2%), ad format limitations (9.8%), poor inventory quality (9.8%) and others (9.8%) constituted the factors limiting the development of online video ad growth. However, online publishers are found to be optimistic about the growth of this advertising sector by next year.
