Don't Let Your Body Speak More Than You During the Interviews

Some people tend to be more expressive in their gestures and facial expressions. This kind of tendency is not at all helpful when it comes to attending interviews. There are certain limitations to how much we move our hands and other things in such a way that they make a perfect combination to what we are saying. Always remember, the words we say and the gestures we make should be in accordance with each other, to make an effective communication. Let us see few things which should be maintained in order to control our body language during the time of interview.

The first thing would be your eye contact. It is always better to maintain an eye contact with the interviewer, since it creates a kind of rapport and enables better interaction. Establishing a better eye contact always builds a trust in you and makes your communication more effective.

Gestures also makes your communication more effective which also helps in giving extra energy to what you are saying. However, they should be in limit otherwise, they create great confusion during the time of the interview. The gestures should be natural and should not be artificial in any sense. Gestures made artificially can be easily identified by the recruiters and hence can be caught under dramatization. Your gestures should be in such a way that they should cope with what exactly you are saying and then only they are found to be functional. Always keep the body language clam and in control by maintaining the energy and the confidence. Don't let your physical attitude affect your psychological attitude and always have a presence of mind.
