How to Choose a Wedding Planner

Wedding couple can not create the wedding budget, they can not select specialized services to choose. They may get confused in making the wedding plan. At this time it is better to have wedding planner. There are different types of wedding planners, first they need to choose from. They are:

Full planner: Full planner will help the couple throughout the entire process of wedding. So if the couple want to get full time service from wedding planners, they can appoint them.


Partial planner: If the couple has completed some of their work , then they can choose the partial wedding planner. If already couple found a reception venue, chosen a cake, and sent invitations and etc. Choosing the partial planner is best for them.


Week or day of planner: Sometimes couple want to get the service from wedding planners on the big day or from before some day of big day, or they may not want to waste the day dealing with small mishaps, so then week or day planners are best for them.


They need to interview the prospect planners, after choosing any type of planner. For this they need to keep the budget in the mind. There are few questions ask which are to be answered by the wedding planner. They are:

  • From how long planner has been working in this field?
  • Whether planner is the member of a professional event planning organization?
  • What is the cost of her or his service?
  • Till now how many weddings did he planned?
  • If it is any emergency, does planner have any backup plan?
  • Does planner have any references from couples or vendors or others?
  • At what time planner can arrive and leave on the wedding day?
These are questions to ask the wedding planner. According to their answers, couples can choose any one from them.
